Baker Mayfield has had a whirlwind of a career in the NFL. The quarterback has finally found his place with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
During the ups and downs, his wife Emily has been his pillar of strength. Earlier this year they became a family of three, and she can’t help but share the important achievements of their six-month-old daughter Kova.
Baker Mayfield Is a Proud Dad as Daughter Kova Impresses Wife Emily
Baker and Emily have been together since 2017 and tied the knot with an extravagant wedding in 2019. In April 2024, Emily gave birth to their daughter Kova. Emily through her Instagram took fans behind-the-scenes in the life of a QB.
On Friday she took to her Instagram stories to share the developments of her daughter with their fans. She posted a video of Kova in her walker, trying to make sense of the toys around her.
“I love watching her learn and discover new things,” she captioned the video.
In her next story, Emily posted a picture of her daughter playing with a wooden abacus. However, the major change was that baby Kova did not need her mother’s help any longer to get the solutions.“Turns 6 months old and decides she doesn’t need help anymore,” Emily captioned.
Emily Shares an Update Regarding Hurricane Milton
Much of Florida, including areas near the Mayfields in Tampa, Fla., were ravaged by Hurricane Milton. However, Emily took to Instagram to provide an update on her family’s well-being through her since-expired Instagram story.
“So many people checking in to make sure we are safe. We are. Praying hard for this beautiful place that’s become our home, our community, our family,” Emily wrote.
She further added a note of caution to other residents: “Be safe, everyone. Stuff is just stuff. Lives are truly all that matter.”
After hitting western Florida, Hurricane Milton crossed the Sunshine State. Hence, the Bucs will take to the field for their Week 7 clash against the Baltimore Ravens in Tampa.
Last week, Mayfield turned up the heat against the New Orleans Saints as he scored four TDs while throwing for 325 yards. The Bucs’ faithful would want a similar performance this week as well, especially after the tough time that the community has endured.
