Baker Mayfield is coming off of a one-year, “prove-it” deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in which he proved it. Just days before becoming a free agent, the Pro Bowl QB signed a three-year deal to stay in Tampa after stints in Los Angeles and Carolina in 2022. Following the new contract, what is Mayfield’s current salary, net worth, and career earnings?
Baker Mayfield’s 2024 Contract
In a year in which he finished third for the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year award, Baker was consistently cooking, and his new contract reflects this.
Mayfield’s fresh deal locks him up through 2027, and it’s worth up to $115 million with $50 million guaranteed. This new contract incorporates $5 million each year in incentives, reliant on his regular-season and playoff performance.

If he finishes in the top 10 in the entire league (or top five in the conference) in touchdown passes, passer rating, passing yards, completion percentage, or yards per pass, his salary will increase by $2.5 million.
Mayfield already got a nice payday from Tampa, but if he can duplicate his strong play from 2023, his paychecks will be even bigger.
Mayfield’s Net Worth, Endorsements, and Business Ventures
Mayfield’s net worth is estimated to be about $25 million.
During his professional playing career, Mayfield has earned a shade over $55 million from his NFL contracts alone.
However, he also has many endorsements — with some of his more well-known partnerships including Progressive, Hulu, BodyArmor, Nike, Leaf Trading Cards, Panini America and more. He earns a healthy $10 million per year just from endorsements.
Mayfield has made a number of investments in various companies. In fact, he even has a venture capital firm called Camwood Ventures that he owns along with his brother, Matt.
Camwood Ventures has invested in companies such as Cabana Club, Progress Coffee, High Desert, Superstition, Tarform, ApothĂ©kary, C2 Ventures, Jack Mason, Goodmylk, Beam, Season Share, Where I’m From, Legends, Wave, PumpJack Dataworks, and Earbuds. Mayfield has served as a brand ambassador for some of these brands as well, including the THC-free CBD company, Beam.
The fact that Baker had to move to four different cities in just a couple of years capped his overall net worth recently, as his real-estate holdings have needed to be flipped quite often. However, we certainly see this changing since it seems he’s truly found a home in Tampa after inking his new contract this offseason.

Baker also spends a significant amount of his off-field time giving back to charity and the community. He and his wife, Emily Wilkinson, collected tens of thousands of dollars for Providence House, an organization based in Cleveland that assists at-risk families. Baker once held a joint event with Providence House, raising six figures for the organization.
Also, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayfield collaborated with another group in Cleveland called TownHall, which helps provide food for those who don’t know where their next meal might come from.
If Baker can continue to play anywhere close to his performance in 2023, he’ll continue to make big money from his NFL contract and rack up endorsements. Throw in Mayfield’s smart investments, and it certainly seems like his net worth will only continue to increase.
