Quarterback is the most talked-about position before the NFL Draft, even though this year, the class is considered a bit on the thin side following top two prospects Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders.
However, according to one NFL insider, a certain 95-TD QB is gaining attention.

Dart Subject of 2025 NFL Draft Rumors
Since the end of the season, the two most prominent quarterback names entering the 2025 NFL Draft have been Ward and Sanders, and it hasn’t been particularly close.
Only a few other names have gained attention in a class that is thin at the position, and one such player that is gaining some momentum is Ole Miss prospect Jaxson Dart.
During an appearance on Up & Adams with Kay Adams, NFL draft analyst Matt Miller called Dart a current favorite to go in the top 10. In a hypothetical scenario that positioned Miller as an oddsmaker, Adams asked him, “What would you make the favorite?” Miller responded, “I think Jaxson Dart going in the top ten is the hot one.”

Miller added, “As someone who loves draft rumors, it’s been quiet. I think it’s because we don’t have the big quarterbacks this year.” Adams’guest wasn’t dropping any bombshells, as few names have been turning heads this offseason.
However, Miller went on to say that “Jaxson Dart going in the top 10, and that might be the Saints at nine; it might be a team trading up; that’s the one that I’m trying to get the most intel on right now.” Of course, Miller isn’t alone, since there has been some significant buzz around Dart lately.
Jaxson Dart, Top 10 QB?
Miller doubled down on Dart, saying, “The buzz on him has just been building.” He wanted to be clear, adding, “I will be the first to admit, there’d been buzz on players in the past that fizzled out by the time we got to draft week.” Specifically, he points out “Mac Jones going at three had been the big buzz… and he didn’t go until 15.”
Essentially, the sentiment is no matter the buzz, there’s no knowing exactly where a player is going to land. Regarding Dart, however, Miller said, “It’s definitely trending in the direction that he’s going to go much earlier than we all thought when the season ended.”
While no one can know for sure until the last week of April, the recent takes from Miller confirm that the buzz we’ve been hearing about Dart is real. As for who he ends up suiting up for, well, bet responsibly.
