Fantasy football managers held their breath when they saw Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown stub his toe on Sunday and subsequently take his time getting off the field. Here is the latest on St. Brown and his injury.

What Happened to Amon-Ra St. Brown?
In the third quarter of the game against the Seattle Seahawks, St. Brown’s foot seemed to be bent back slightly after a catch. He came out for a few plays, but he was able to return and finished the game with an 86% catch rate and 102 yards on seven targets. He seemed to have some sort of toe issue after the game.
There was concern that it could be a turf toe injury, which can be more severe, but it was later revealed to be a bone bruise. St. Brown was upgraded to a full practice on Friday, and he will be questionable for Sunday’s game against Atlanta at home.
What Are Detroit’s Options if St. Brown Misses Time?
All signs are pointing to St. Brown playing on Sunday in a game that could be nice for the Lions. St. Brown said, “I’m excited and happy that it’s nothing too serious.”

Playing at home, Jared Goff is especially solid, and the pass catchers should reap the benefits. If St. Brown is limited on Sunday, WR Josh Reynolds and TE Sam LaPorta could see more work. Reynolds had an excellent Week 2, finishing as WR8 with 66 yards receiving and two TDs. LaPorta is also coming into his own, with two top-12 finishes in the first two weeks.
What Does This Mean for St. Brown’s Fantasy Ranking?
Even with the toe issue, St. Brown is WR7 in our PFN Consensus Rankings for Week 3. I have very little doubt that he will not play, and I expect a typical solid day for him when he does. I am not moving him down in our ranks. Fire him up!
