The New England Patriots started strong and simply kept the foot on the pedal all night long on “Monday Night Football” en route to a 33-15 win over the New York Giants at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.
New England has experienced a renaissance season under new head coach Mike Vrabel, who has brought structure and order back to what had been a chaotic franchise in the years following Bill Belichick’s departure.
As the Patriots won on Monday night, they also had their sights on bigger goals.

But Maye has been outstanding with a 68.8% completion percentage in his first 25 games, which is an NFL record. Maye was a first-round draft pick (No. 3 overall) by New England in the 2024 NFL Draft. While his rookie season didn’t pan out too well record-wise, Maye was still turning heads around the NFL.
According to the PFSN NFL QB Impact metrics, Maye has an impact score of 88.1 and grades out to a B+. According to the PFSN NFL RB Impact metrics, TreVeyon Henderson has an impact score of 75.8 and grades out to a C, while Rhamondre Stevenson has an impact score of 58.4 and grades out to an F.
Entering Monday night’s game against New York, Maye had 3,130 passing yards with 21 touchdowns and six interceptions. But his two TD passes on Monday night bumped that total TD count to 23. It looks like New England is back on a roll once again.
