For many years, the Golden State Warriors, led by Stephen Curry, have been the focal point of the arena. It was just a few weeks ago that Curry announced his rising fandom for the Golden State Valkyries. Heading into the offseason, he said, “I’m gonna be a fan. I’m gonna be at as many games as possible… I’m excited to watch them play and wish them nothing but success.”

And he proved it right. He was part of the historic sold-out crowd on Sunday, along with Brandin Podziemski. While Podz is now a regular appearance in Valkyries’ games, it was like a breath of fresh air to see Curry in the arena. Even the fans couldn’t help but voice it out on social media.

Some fans stated how the success Chase Center has seen in the past few years is all owed to Curry’s greatness. A fan wrote, “The House that Curry Built”

While another fan wrote, “in the arena he built”

There were some fans who could only post a GIF of a goat looking on, referring to Curry being the GOAT here. While others can’t wait for the upcoming season to begin early just to see him play again: “man just waiting for October to come around asap, so that i can watch him play again”

And of course, with the incoming trades and free agency period starting, some fans pointed out that Curry was back in the Bay Area just in time. “Steph back in town a day before free agency starts?”

Along with Curry and Podz, Ryan and Canon Curry were also present in the arena watching this wonderful collaboration of the NBA and WNBA.

The chef was fully invested in the game, with strong reactions seen on his face during the third quarter, witnessing Kate Martin’s playmaking. As Martin hit a three from the wing before forcing a turnover, Curry was seen enjoying the successful play.

He cheered on and held his hands up as the Storm forced the Valkyries to stand up and take the lead during the latter half of the game.

Considering his busy last year, it was fun for fans to see Curry in a calm demeanor performing fan duties, just like anyone else. Fans only hope that this won’t be his last outing to a WNBA game since October is a few months away!
