The South Carolina basketball family showed up for two of its brightest stars, Collin Murray-Boyles and Chloe Kitts. As the 20-year-old heard his name called at the 2025 NBA Draft, girlfriend Chloe Kitts posted a deeply personal tribute.

That touching post filled her comment section with heartfelt messages from Gamecocks past and present. However, South Carolina junior guard Raven Johnson led the wave of love, joining the program to celebrate the couple.

Collin Murray-Boyles and Chloe Kitts Receive Heartfelt Reactions from South Carolina Teammates

Murray-Boyles had a dream night on June 25 when the Toronto Raptors selected him 9th overall, making him the first South Carolina player to receive a green room invite.

Right after that, he quickly became an internet sensation. Everything from his emotional reaction, the F-bomb, and the moment with his girlfriend went viral almost instantly. Kitts’ emotional reaction on draft night touched the basketball community most. Some speculated it was a mix of happiness and sadness, knowing their careers are now taking different paths.

She finally opened up about her feelings after Murray-Boyles’ draft moment. In an emotional Instagram post, she shared a quiet memory from the previous year. She reflected on a night when Murray-Boyles predicted he would be in this year’s draft.

She wrote, “It’s crazy to think that last year we were sitting on the couch watching the draft, and you looked at me and said, ‘That’ll be me next year.’ And now… it is you.”

It didn’t take long for the South Carolina basketball family to flood the comments with support. Raven Johnson, known on Instagram as hollywood_raven, shared an adorable comment, penning, penning, “Awww cuties.”

Bree Hall added, “Love to see it,” followed by a playful second comment, “I like your dress give it to me.” She later gushed over the moment, writing, “the first pic is so tea 🥹,” referencing the emotional embrace between Kitts and Murray-Boyles.

Former Gamecock Te-Hina Paopao noted, “i’m jppppp but you up next 🥰😝😝😝.” Sania Feagin dropped a string of “🥺🥺🥺” emojis, while Marisa Seaton wrote, “Love this for you ❤️.” Even VJ Edgecombe called the moment “Inspirational.” The official @gamecocksonline account kept it simple with a red heart: “❤️”
