The 2025 NBA Finals tip off on Thursday, June 5, and the excitement has reached a fever pitch. The Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers anticipate winning the NBA title and entering the pantheon of greats. OKC has reached its first NBA Finals since 2012, and has unfinished business as Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook couldn’t carry them over the line.

The Pacers, meanwhile, are in the Finals for the first time after 25 years, when Reggie Miller and Co. lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000. With fans wanting to catch the games, here are the dates, times, and TV schedules for this year’s NBA Finals.

How To Watch 2025 NBA Finals: Schedule, Date, and Time

It will be a best-of-seven series, with both teams fighting for the top spot. Moreover, ABC will broadcast all the games as the commentary teams will feature Mike Breen (play-by-play), Doris Burke (analysis), Richard Jefferson (analysis), and Lisa Salters (sideline reporting), according to IndyStar.

Here’s the schedule for all the Games as it comes:

  • Game 1: Indiana at Oklahoma City | 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday, June 5 (ABC)
  • Game 2: Indiana at Oklahoma City | 8:30 p.m. ET Sunday, June 8 (ABC)
  • Game 3: Oklahoma City at Indiana | 8:30 p.m. ET Wednesday, June 11 (ABC)
  • Game 4: Oklahoma City at Indiana | 8:30 p.m. ET Friday, June 13 (ABC)
  • Game 5 (If necessary): Indiana at Oklahoma City | 8:30 p.m. ET Monday, June 16 (ABC)
  • Game 6 (If necessary): Oklahoma City at Indiana | 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday, June 19 (ABC)
  • Game 7 (If necessary): Indiana at Oklahoma City | 9 p.m. ET Sunday, June 22 (ABC)

The games will be in a 2-2-1-1-1 format, with the first two games being played at the Paycom Center, followed by Games 3 and 4 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. For any games necessary after that, the series will rotate back and forth between each game.

Notably, the pre-game coverage, “NBA Countdown Presented by DoorDash,” airs on TV 30 minutes before the game. Usually, Malika Andrews hosts the show with in-depth analysis from Stephen A. Smith, Bob Myers, Kendrick Perkins, and senior NBA insider Shams Charania.

Fans who want streaming services can check out ESPN+, which requires a subscription and includes additional NBA content. According to the Guardian, the rest of the streaming sites include Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, fuboTV, DIRECTV STREAM, and Sling TV (via ESPN3 for ABC games). Most of these streaming channels will require a paid subscription to watch games.
