Despite the Los Angeles Lakers’ early exit from the postseason, LeBron James continues to add more records under his belt.
The NBA announced the 2025 All-NBA teams on Friday, May 23. The Lakers’ small forward was named in the All-NBA second team alongside Stephen Curry, Anthony Edwards, Evan Mobley, and Jalen Brunson.
Here’s what James had to say after making yet another All-NBA selection.

LeBron James’ Reaction to All-NBA Team Selection
James made the All-NBA team for the 21st time in his 22-year-long career. This was the fourth time he was selected for the All-NBA second team. He has earned the All-NBA first team selection 13 times and the All-NBA third team four times. His rookie season was the only season when he didn’t earn the honor.
The four-time NBA champion took to his X handle to show his surprise at the achievement.
“ALL NBA at 40!! Low key crazy to me right now! Sitting here watching the playoffs just thinking about it. Blessed beyond I can even imagine.👑🙏🏾,” he wrote.
