Who Are NBC Sports’ NBA Broadcasters? Legends Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony Join Team

NBC Sports has added Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, and Carmelo Anthony to their analyst group for the 2025-2026 NBA season.

NBC Sports is gearing up for its highly anticipated return to NBA broadcasting, and they’ve assembled a star-studded team of analysts featuring legends Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, and Carmelo Anthony.

This trio brings unmatched experience and insight to the network’s coverage, promising fans a top-tier viewing experience.

Who Is Michael Jordan?

Jordan, widely considered the greatest basketball player of all time, joins NBC as a special contributor. His career is packed with historic achievements.

Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships, earning Finals MVP honors each time. A five-time NBA MVP, Jordan also racked up 14 All-Star selections, 10 All-NBA First Team nods, and nine NBA All-Defensive First Team honors. He led the league in scoring a record 10 times and holds the highest career scoring average in regular-season history at 30.1 points per game.

After retiring, Jordan moved into front-office roles. He was a minority owner and president of basketball operations for the Washington Wizards from 2000 to 2003, a tenure that included an unexpected return to the court.

In 2010, he became the majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets). While he didn’t achieve championship success as an executive, his influence was undeniable. Jordan sold his majority stake in the Hornets in 2023 but remains a minority owner.

Who Is Carmelo Anthony?

Anthony, a 10-time All-Star and six-time All-NBA selection, joins NBC Sports as a studio analyst. Known for his scoring ability, Anthony ranks 12th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 28,289 career points, highlighting his consistent offensive production over a 19-year career.

He also led Syracuse to an NCAA title in 2003 and captured three Olympic gold medals with Team USA. Anthony is set to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in September 2025.

Who Is Vince Carter?

Carter, an eight-time NBA All-Star and the 1999 NBA Rookie of the Year, also joins NBC’s studio team. Known as “Vinsanity,” Carter thrilled fans with his iconic dunks and athleticism during a remarkable 22-year NBA career.

He’s the only player in league history to play in four different decades—the 1990s through the 2020s—showing elite longevity and adaptability. Carter scored 25,728 career points (top 25 all-time) and made 2,290 three-pointers (10th all-time). He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2024.

Bringing in these iconic names signals NBC Sports’ strong commitment to high-quality NBA coverage as the league returns to the network in fall 2025. Their combined expertise promises fans next-level analysis and compelling commentary throughout the season.
