Draymond Green Shares Heartwarming Moment with Daughter After Warriors’ Bittersweet Win vs. Raptors

Draymond Green had a genuinely sweet moment celebrating the Warriors win with his infant daughter after they beat the Raptors

Draymond Green helped keep the Golden State Warriors afloat in their win over the Toronto Raptors. With Stephen Curry out following a pelvic contusion, Green took the reins and guided the Warriors to a victory.

After the win, Green was pictured celebrating with his daughter despite the uncertainty surrounding the Warriors and Curry.

After the game was over, Warriors on NBCS’ X account posted two pictures of Green celebrating the win with his daughter.

It is genuinely heartwarming to see Green celebrate the win with his daughter after a hard-fought win, especially because now, with all the uncertainty they are dealing with Curry’s newest injury, life could get a lot harder for Green and the Warriors for the next little while.

Curry’s Injury Makes Warriors Anxious

After Curry hurt himself during the game, not much is known about when he will return to the Warriors. His injury could not have come at a less fortunate time. Thanks to the Jimmy Butler trade, the Warriors have been rolling since the NBA trade deadline. At the same time, getting Butler has only mostly helped the Warriors dig themselves out of a hole.

While Butler has helped put the Warriors back on course, it can all be for nothing if Curry isn’t available for the rest of the season. Curry’s absence could have major ramifications for their playoff seeding once the regular season wraps up. It could be the difference between the Warriors getting homecourt advantage in the first round and being in the play-in.

All indications are that Curry’s injury isn’t necessarily serious, but he may be out for long enough that the Warriors will have to plan without him heading into April. That will mean a bigger role for both Green and Butler.

Lucky for the Warriors, Butler knows what it’s like to be the number one option offensively, as he was exactly that when he played for the Miami Heat from 2019 to 2025. Green will also likely shoulder more of the offensive load.

Golden State can persevere through all of that, but where this could become a real problem is how much that could affect their durability in the playoffs. For as good as Butler and Green are, spending that much of their energy could loom large in the postseason at their age. It’s not an ideal situation.

Nevertheless, at least Green is in high spirits because he and the Warriors have quite a mountain to climb.
