After being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, star guard Tyler Herro remained relatively quiet about the situation. However, now that the dust has settled, Herro has begun to fire shots at Antetokounmpo and former teammate Bam Adebayo.

On Thursday morning, Herro posted a story on his second Instagram account, under the handle “wonderdidit,” featuring a graphic of the top 10 NBA players with the lowest mid-range field goal percentage.
Antetokounmpo, who was recently traded for Herro in a blockbuster deal, headlined the list with an NBA-worst 26.8% on mid-range attempts. More notably, though, and what caught fans by surprise, was Adebayo’s inclusion in the graphic at No. 10, with just a 35.9% success rate.

Understandably, Herro took a slight dig at the superstar he was traded for in Antetokounmpo, but taking a shot at Adebayo leaves fans questioning how he truly feels about his former co-star and seven-year Heat teammate.
Herro and Adebayo spent seven seasons together in Miami. Adebayo was the No. 14 overall pick out of Kentucky in 2017, while Herro was the 13th overall selection out of the same school in 2019.
As Heat teammates, Herro and Adebayo reached the playoffs six times. They made three Eastern Conference Finals appearances and reached the NBA Finals twice, though they ultimately fell short against the Lakers in 2020 and the Nuggets in 2023.
Award-wise, Herro earned 2021 Sixth Man of the Year honors, recorded his first and only All-Star selection in 2025, and averaged 20 or more points in five consecutive seasons from 2021 to the present. Meanwhile, Adebayo was selected to the All-Star Game three times, earned six All-Defensive Team selections, and averaged 20+ points on two separate occasions.
Although the duo never managed to capture the Larry O’Brien Trophy, Herro and Adebayo were consistently one of the league’s best supporting duos alongside Jimmy Butler in Miami.
As for Herro’s cryptic post, the situation is worth monitoring to see whether Herro or Adebayo provides a follow-up.
