The New York Knicks are looking to bounce back from a Game 3 loss at Madison Square Garden without the chaos of Donald Trump attending.
But there are rumors of another very famous individual in attendance for Game 4. Pop megastar Taylor Swift is rumored to attend Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Taylor Swift’s Rumored Game 4 Attendance
According to Page Six, Taylor Swift is set to attend Game 4 of the NBA Finals to watch the Knicks try to inch closer to the championship that has eluded them since 1973. It isn’t her first Knicks playoff game of the season, either. She was courtside for the Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland with Travis Kelce. For that game, she was repping the Cavaliers and Kelce was head to toe in Cavaliers gear.
But Swift isn’t a Cavaliers fan. She is reportedly a Knicks fan and will be there to root on her squad. She has been spotted in years past at MSG supporting the Knicks as she has lived in New York since 2014. Now, the city is all about the Knicks and their championship run, so Swift is getting in on the action like many other die hard Knicks fans.
This won’t be the only time that Swift sets foot into Madison Square Garden in the summer. It won’t be because she’s performing, either. She is set to marry Kelce in Madison Square Garden in a huge wedding in July. Until then, she’s got time to get acclimated to her wedding venue, and she’s doing that by attending Game 4.
The celeb row in Madison Square Garden is always packed with stars. Swift is just joining the list of high-profile stars that will pack the Garden for Game 4. It’s a given that Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, and Ben Stiller will be there. Who knows who else, but it’s going to be a star-studded affair in the MSG seats.
Looking at the on-court play, it’s the most important game of the series for both teams. The Spurs, after losing both games at home, have the chance to take home-court advantage back for themselves with a win, while the Knicks would put themselves within striking distance of an NBA championship.
Victor Wembanyama’s push on Jalen Brunson on that wasn’t elevated to a flagrant foul has been the talk of the NBA since Game 3 ended. With the projected intensity of Game 4 after what happened in Game 3, it should be a wild game.
Both teams will rely on their stars to carry them to the promised land, and only time will tell if New York can please Swift and company or the Spurs will ruin the party once again.
