NBA Fans Aren’t Happy With Knicks for Donald Trump Visit

For those NBA fans who have not seen what the Knicks shared on social media on Saturday night, the organization posted the statement their account on X. Here’s the key part that has left fans upset.

Journalist Aaron Rupar posted his comments about Trump’s visit on his account on X. Rupar said, “Knicks ask fans to arrive at the arena AT LEAST TWO HOURS (!!!) before game 3 begins. Thank Trump for that.”

B.W. Carlin, who is the founder of Bad Brain Digital Consulting and previously wrote for Sports Illustrated, XFL, The Dan Le Batard Show, and Barstool Sports, shared his thoughts, too. Carlin posted on X, “Trump already ruining the vibes. Don’t like this. Need the power of friendship dialed up to 10.”

Jeff Nadu, who hosts “The Sitdown With Jeff Nadu” podcast, posted on X, “Imagine letting Donald Trump inconvenience your entire fanbase. What a disgusting organization who doesn’t care about their fans! Between this and ticket prices. SAD!”

OutKick’s account on X posted this: “No bags allowed when Trump is in the building.” An influencer had a simple four-word response to the Knicks’ statement: “This is not cool.”

Melanie D’Arrigo, executive director of The Campaign for New York Health, wrote this and posted it on X: “Trump always goes out of his way to ruin everything for everyone but himself.”

Knicks fans will have some inconveniences before stepping into one of the sports world’s most famous arenas. With Trump appearing, those fans will have to adjust before getting to their seats.

All eyes for Knicks fans will be on Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mitchell Robinson, and their teammates going up against the Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama.

The Knicks won the first two games at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. They now will follow in the footsteps of Willis Reed and Walt “Clyde” Frazier, legendary Knicks players to led their teams to NBA titles.
