Former NBA champion Jason Terry recently revisited the time he got dunked on by LeBron James. Back when Terry was still playing in the NBA, he faced off against James on numerous occasions.
While the two players never had issues with each other, James and Terry became synonymous with each other because of one fateful dunk.

Back on March 18, 2013, James famously posterized Terry. At the time, James was playing for the Miami Heat, while Terry suited up for the Boston Celtics.
As Terry attempted to bring the ball down for the Celtics, he was hounded by James’ teammates on defense. Dwyane Wade poked the ball free and secured the steal.
Wade quickly dished the ball to Mario Chalmers, who made an extra pass to Norris Cole, who saw a trailing James and threw a lob pass to him. James finished it off with a thunderous slam, with a helpless Terry trying to defend all three players.
It was undoubtedly one of the most memorable dunks in NBA history, which apparently changed Terry’s life.
In a recent interview with Terry, the former NBA champion revealed how fans now remember him as the guy who got dunked on by the King. Throughout his 19 years in the league, Terry notched an NBA championship in 2011 and won the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2009.
Despite his accolades, James’ dunk over him has seemingly erased his remarkable achievements in his career.
“I’ll forever go down in history like, ‘You got dunked on by the King!'” Terry said. “Every camp, every clinic I go to in America, I go and talk to kids. They don’t ask me, ‘How did it feel to play 19 years and play with Dirk and win a chip?’ They say, ‘How does it feel for LeBron to dunk on you like that?'”
“What happened was I turned the ball over and got Chalmers coming at me, Bron coming down the middle, then I took my eye off LeBron for one second,” Terry said. “I chased Chalmers and turned back around, and he was already in the air. What made me jump is what I’m trynna figure out.”

As sad as the situation may seem, it appears that Terry is okay with what happened and has nothing but love for the man who dunked on him. James is now playing in his 23rd NBA season and is still continuously dunking on other players, even at the age of 41.
