The Golden State Warriors faced the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. The Celtics secured a home victory over the Warriors, a disappointing result for Golden State fans. While the loss was difficult, an incident transpired before the game concluded on Wednesday.
Warriors star Stephen Curry became involved with a fan in attendance as he walked back to the locker room with his teammates.

What Happened With Steph Curry and the Celtics Fan?
Curry was sidelined once again for Golden State. It has been nearly two months since Curry last appeared on the court. The star point guard missed his 18th consecutive game due to patellofemoral pain syndrome, commonly known as runner’s knee.
The injury prevented Curry from helping his team fend off the Celtics on Wednesday. However, an unruly fan in attendance made the night worse by grabbing his arm.
As Curry walked back to the locker room, a spectator on the sidelines grabbed his arm to get his attention. While the fan likely intended to grab the attention of the Warriors star, Curry showed visible frustration toward the individual.

According to sources, the fan who yanked his arm was ejected from the game as punishment for the unruly behavior.
Shams Charania previously reported that Curry is expected to miss one more week of basketball action. Based on that timeline, his earliest possible return could be March 25, when the Warriors face the Brooklyn Nets.
However, his return depends on his next evaluation. Curry is scheduled for re-evaluation on March 21. If doctors find no further issues, fans can expect him to return for the team’s final games before the postseason.
Golden State currently sits in 10th place with a 33-36 record. The team has only 13 games remaining as of March 19. It is unlikely the Warriors will climb into the top 6 of the Western Conference to avoid the Play-In Tournament.
If Curry returns, he provides a significant boost to the team’s postseason hopes. The Warriors hope to secure the 7th or 8th seed to improve their chances of escaping the elimination bracket.
