The NBA resumed play with a 10-game slate Thursday in its first set of games following the All-Star break. Friday promises nearly as much action, with nine games scheduled. Two are nationally televised, while the rest can be streamed on League Pass.
What Are The NBA Games Today (Friday, Feb. 20)?
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Charlotte Hornets, 7 p.m. ET
The Cavaliers and the Hornets will both play the second game of a back-to-back on Friday. The Cavs are coming off a win against the Brooklyn Nets, while the Hornets lost to the Houston Rockets.
This is the fourth and final meeting between the teams in the 2025-26 regular season, and the Cavs hold a 2-1 advantage. The game is available on NBA League Pass.
Indiana Pacers @ Washington Wizards, 7 p.m. ET
The Pacers and the Wizards are 14th and 15th in their conference, respectively, so this matchup may not draw as much attention as others. While it does not carry major playoff implications, it could impact lottery positioning.
Both teams are playing the second of a back-to-back after facing each other Thursday, with the Wizards winning 112-105.
Utah Jazz @ Memphis Grizzlies, 7 p.m. ET
Jaren Jackson Jr., who was traded to the Jazz ahead of the deadline, will not play Friday. The 2023 Defensive Player of the Year underwent surgery to remove localized pigmented villonodular synovitis in his left knee.
The season series is tied 1-1. Friday’s matchup will give the winner an edge before their final meeting on April 10.
Miami Heat @ Atlanta Hawks, 7:30 p.m. ET
This middle-of-the-pack matchup could influence how the Eastern Conference play-in tournament unfolds. The Heat are 29-27, while the Hawks are 27-30 after Thursday’s win against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Jonathan Kuminga is not expected to make his Hawks debut Friday as he continues to recover from a bone bruise in his left knee.
Dallas Mavericks @ Minnesota Timberwolves, 7:30 p.m. ET
This Western Conference clash between the Mavericks and the Timberwolves is the first of two nationally televised games on Friday.
The Timberwolves enter with a healthy roster, while the Mavericks continue to deal with injuries. Cooper Flagg (foot) has been ruled out. Caleb Martin, Max Christie, and Daniel Gafford are all listed as questionable with ankle injuries.
The game will air on ESPN and is also available on NBA League Pass.
Milwaukee Bucks @ New Orleans Pelicans, 8 p.m. ET
Only two of Friday’s nine games are interconference matchups, and Bucks vs. Pelicans is one of them.
The Bucks begin the post-All-Star break stretch without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner, both sidelined with calf injuries.
Micah Peavy (toe) and Yves Missi (calf) are out for the Pelicans, while Trey Murphy III (shoulder) is listed as doubtful.
Brooklyn Nets @ Oklahoma City Thunder, 8 p.m. ET
The Nets hope to bounce back after Thursday’s loss to the Cavaliers. The Thunder will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, which could benefit Brooklyn. Still, Oklahoma City will look to maintain its position atop the NBA standings.
Los Angeles Clippers @ Los Angeles Lakers, 10 p.m. ET
This nationally televised matchup marks the fourth and final “battle for LA” of the 2025-26 regular season. The Clippers hold a 2-1 edge, but their roster looks different from the last meeting. Ivica Zubac and James Harden are no longer with the team, and Darius Garland, who was traded for Harden, is listed as out.
The Clippers are coming off a game against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, while the Lakers are returning from the All-Star break.
Like the Mavericks-Timberwolves matchup, this game will air on ESPN and is available on League Pass.
Denver Nuggets @ Portland Trail Blazers, 10 p.m. ET
The Nuggets began the season 12-3 in their first 15 games. One of those three losses was a 109-107 upset against the Trail Blazers. Friday’s matchup gives Denver a chance to even the season series at 1-1, with two additional meetings scheduled later in the season.
