Devin Booker and Chris Paul were once among the best duos in the NBA.
During the 2021 season (Paul’s first year with the Suns), they led the franchise to the NBA Finals.
Paul was then traded to the Washington Wizards during the 2023 offseason.
Devin Booker Reacts To Chris Paul Retiring From NBA
This week, Paul announced that he was retiring from the NBA.
He had been traded to the Toronto Raptors (and then waived) after appearing in 16 games for the LA Clippers this year.
Following the news, the Suns released a video of Booker.

During the 2021 season, Paul averaged 16.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 49.9% from the field and 39.5% from three-point range in 70 games.
He averaged at least 8.9 assists per contest in all three seasons he with Phoenix.

Paul also played for the New Orleans Hornets, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder over 21 seasons.

As for Booker, he is in his 11th season (all with the Suns).
The All-Star guard is currently averaging 25.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 31.1% from three-point range in 43 games.

Right now, the Suns are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 32-23 record in 55 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games.
On Thursday night (February 19), the Suns will resume action when they visit Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in Texas.
The Suns are coming off a season where they missed the NBA playoffs despite having Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal (and Booker) on their roster.
