Golden State Warriors Announce Bad News For Steph Curry Before 76ers Game

Steph Curry has been ruled out for Tuesday's game between the Warriors and 76ers.

On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors will host the Philadelphia 76ers at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Warriors are coming off a 131-124 loss to the Detroit Pistons (at home).

Steph Curry finished the loss with 23 points, one rebound, two assists and one block while shooting 7/16 from the field and 4/10 from three-point range in 25 minutes of playing time.

For Tuesday’s game, the Warriors will be without their best player, as Curry has been ruled out.

Via ESPN’s Anthony Slater: “Officially listed as patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner’s knee) for Steph Curry. Out tomorrow vs Sixers. Getting persistent treatment on that right knee.”

Curry is currently averaging 27.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 39.1% from three-point range in 39 games.

He is in his 17th NBA season (all with Golden State).

The Warriors are currently the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 27-23 record in 50 games.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games (and are 17-8 at home).

Following the 76ers, the Warriors will play their next game on Thursday night when they visit Dillon Brooks and the Phoenix Suns in Arizona.

On the other side, the 76ers enter play as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 27-21 record in 48 games.
