Dončić came into the night with averages of 33.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field and 33.4% from three-point range in 36 games.

He is in his first full year playing for the Lakers after the blockbuster trade (via the Dallas Mavericks) during the middle of last season.

The Lakers improved to 28-17 in 45 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and 5-5 over their last ten).

Following the Bulls, the Lakers will play their next game on Wednesday when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers.
