We are a little under a month away from the second half of the 2025-26 NBA season. So far, the Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder have consistently dominated their respective conferences.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game is also rapidly approaching, with nearly three weeks remaining until the event. The All-Star starters have also been announced, with the reserves set to be revealed on Feb. 1.

All NBA Games Today
While everyone is looking forward to All-Star Weekend, there are still plenty of regular-season games prior to the pause in play.
With that said, there’s a full schedule on a Friday, Jan. 23 slate that features plenty of interesting matchups.
Cade Cunningham and his Pistons will be put to the test, as they’ll face off against future Hall of Famer Kevin Durant and his capable Houston Rockets teammates.
There will also be an NBA Finals rematch between the Thunder and the Indiana Pacers, although the absence of the injured Tyrese Haliburton and the offseason departure of Myles Turner remove some of the luster.
With all that in mind, here’s the full list of games that will take place tonight:
- Houston Rockets vs. Detroit Pistons (7 pm ET, live on NBA League Pass and Prime Video)
- Phoenix Suns vs. Atlanta Hawks (7:30 pm ET, live on NBA League Pass)
- Boston Celtics vs. Brooklyn Nets (7:30 pm ET, live on NBA League Pass)
- Sacramento Kings vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (7:30 pm ET, live on NBA League Pass and NBA TV)
- New Orleans Pelicans vs. Memphis Grizzlies (8 pm ET, live on NBA League Pass)
- Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (8 pm ET, live on NBA League Pass)
- Denver Nuggets vs. Milwaukee Bucks (9:30 pm ET, live on NBA League Pass and Prime Video)
- Toronto Raptors vs. Portland Trail Blazers (10 pm ET, live on NBA League Pass)
The aforementioned Pistons-Rockets clash is arguably the marquee matchup of the night. Both teams have been playing well and would like to keep their momentum against a high-caliber opponent.
Meanwhile, the Bucks’ matchup against the Nuggets could arguably be classified as a must-win game for Giannis Antetokounmpo and his teammates, which have been struggling with six losses in their last 10 games.
Milwaukee enters the night in 11th place in the Eastern Conference with an 18-25 record. That places them 1.5 games behind the Hawks, who are currently in 10th place.
A victory for the Bucks against the visiting Nuggets would not only naturally bring them one step closer to .500, but the Play-In Tournament picture as well.
