Golden State had Seth Curry on the roster during the preseason but had to cut him due to financial restrictions as they were to subject to the second apron tax.

As time passed, the Warriors finally had the bandwidth to sign Curry for the remainder of the season, per NBA insider Shams Charania.

“Seth Curry intends to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors on Monday to a deal for the remainder of the season, sources tell ESPN. Curry – who shot an NBA-best 45.6% from 3-point range in 2024-25 – joins older brother Stephen on the Warriors for his 12th season in the league,” Charania wrote.

Curry has represented nine teams throughout his 11 seasons in the league since he entered in 2013. The Warriors will be his 10th as he approaches his 12th season, having a key role as a sharpshooter from beyond the arc.

The veteran guard last represented the Charlotte Hornets, where he played for the past two seasons. He took part in 76 total games, averaging 6.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and an assist per game. He boasted shooting splits of 47.3% from the field, including 43.8% from beyond the arc, and 86.3% from the free-throw line.
