Should You Draft Zaccharie Risacher in Fantasy Basketball?

Zaccharie Risacher made strides as last season wore on, averaging 14.6 points and shooting 40.7% from deep during the second half of his rookie campaign.

The shooting growth is going to have to stick for him to be of any interest to us because the surrounding counting numbers simply weren’t there. We did see 50.9% of his shots last season come within 10 feet, so at the very least, there is an analytically appealing profile to chase.

That’s not to say that he can’t develop, but he’s got far more competition for playing time this season and the Hawks are going to be pushing for as high a seed as possible, something that could make them less likely to work through growing pains for the first overall pick in 2024.

You’re not being asked to invest much (Round 12 selection), but in this area, I’m more interested in young players with a greater runway in terms of role (Dylan Harper being my favorite late round option).
