Cooper Flagg’s Dunk Went Viral In Mavs-Lakers Game

Cooper Flagg had a big dunk during Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks are playing the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas.

During the first half, rookie Cooper Flagg had a big dunk that got a lot of views on social media.

Flagg had seven points and one assist while shooting 3/5 from the field and 0/1 from the three-point range in his first seven minutes of playing time.

Via Brad Townsend of Dallas Morning News: “Kendrick Perkins on ESPN predicts Cooper Flagg will be a top 25 NBA player by season’s end. Finally something with which I agree with Perk.”

Flagg was the first pick in the 2025 NBA Draft after one season at Duke.

The 18-year-old is expected to be among the best players in the league from the moment his rookie year begins.

Flagg and the Mavs have gone 2-1 over their first three preseason games.

They most recently beat the Utah Jazz (in Salt Lake City) by a score of 114-101.

The former Blue Devils star had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Following the Lakers, the Mavs will conclude the preseason.

They will play their first game of the 2025-26 regular season on October 22 when they host Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in Dallas.

As for the Lakers, they have gone 1-3 in their first four preseason games.

They will play their first game on October 21 when they host the Golden State Warriors.
