After announcing his engagement on July 11 on Instagram, Mitchell had fans and the entire NBA fraternity gushing over him. People sent out tweets and comments along with their best wishes for the happy couple. One fan posted, “Coco Jones has one of the craziest face cards I have ever seen.”

Mitchell and Jones have been in a relationship for quite some time, although they kept it quiet and under wraps until their engagement. Despite rumors, they did not hard launch their relationship before Friday.
Jones was the first to share a beautiful picture of the happy couple after Mitchell proposed to her at a resort at sunset. The two can be seen kissing together, with the Grammy Award-winning artist flashing her new ring.

Per New York Post, Jones and Mitchell first met in July 2023 at Michael Rubin’s White Party. After connecting for the entirety of the event, they started dating soon. Even as fans speculated about their relationship after their first appearance, they managed to maintain a private relationship.
Through highs and lows, the duo has supported each other in their careers. Jones sprinkled some hints about Mitchell in an interview with The Breakfast Club. “I’m happy, and that’s all I got to say about it.”
Then, on the Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, she revealed just a bit more. “I love the internet because they definitely clocked my tea. I love that. Little spies everywhere. I feel like I’m in a detective movie,” Jones said.
Now that they’re together, looking forward to their future, the next few months will be busy for the duo, especially Mitchell. He will be planning his wedding with Jones and practicing for the upcoming NBA season.
