Oklahoma City Thunder player Alex Caruso is competing at the American Century Championship (ACC), a high-profile celebrity golf tournament held annually at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
The ACC is considered the most prestigious celebrity golf tournament, with over 80 participants from sports, entertainment, and other fields.
The stakes are real at this 54-hole tournament. The winner takes home a $150,000 prize, and the total purse reaches $750,000. That’s serious money for a celebrity golf event.
On Wednesday, Broucher shared two pictures from the tournament on her Instagram stories. The first captured a scenic view of the golf course, which she captioned with “This place is incredible.” The second showed the couple together, with Caruso dressed in his golf attire while Broucher complemented him in a black athleisure outfit.
The Thunder guard isn’t the only NBA talent on the course. Current players Austin Reaves, Kyle Lowry, Zach LaVine, Stephen Curry, and his brother Seth are also competing. The retired players include Charles Barkley, Ray Allen, Vince Carter, and Grant Hill.
How Close Are Caruso and Broucher to Their Wedding Day?
The golf tournament comes at an exciting time for the couple. Caruso proposed to Broucher in August 2024 while they were vacationing. The Thunder star got down on one knee and presented the ring, with both sharing the beautiful moment on their respective Instagram accounts.
Wedding bells are getting closer for the pair. Before Caruso’s appearance at the ACC, Broucher had just finished her bachelorette party. In an Instagram post from a week ago, she shared a photo, captioning it “and we’re off #countdowntocaruso.”
The picture showed Broucher displaying her engagement ring while holding a stick with Caruso’s face on the other end. She also wore love-framed glasses, adding a playful touch to the moment.

The bachelorette celebration, revealed in an Instagram post from five days ago, showed the group on a boat. Broucher shared multiple photos featuring many of her friends and captioned the post “Something blue boat day 2025. #countdowntocaruso #boatdaybestday.”
Broucher posted several pictures from the trip, mainly taken from a yacht, showing her in stunning white attire. The final photo in the post featured a coconut-shaped bottle with the words “Haleigh’s bachelorette party, Cabo, July 2025” written on it.

The couple’s relationship began publicly in September 2022. Both Caruso and Broucher are alumni of Texas A&M. During her time as a student at A&M, Broucher participated in the 20th season of “Big Brother,” the CBS reality show.
2025 is shaping up to be a banner year for Caruso. After winning the NBA championship with the Thunder, where he served as the veteran voice in the locker room, the 31-year-old guard is now taking a major step in his personal life.
