Giannis Antetokounmpo broke a chair on stream, but that wasn’t the biggest news to come out of his appearance with IShowSpeed. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar also addressed trade rumors swirling around his future, giving fans a glimpse into his mindset about staying in Wisconsin.

During the livestream, Antetokounmpo shared viral moments with the entertainment star, including a hilarious clip where he nearly gave Bucks fans a heart attack due to a chair mishap. But beyond the laughs, he also delivered an update on trade speculation that has New York Knicks fans talking.

What Did Giannis Antetokounmpo Say About His Chair Breaking Moment?

Antetokounmpo recently appeared on the stream of famous Twitch streamer IShowSpeed, creating a viral moment when he broke his chair during their conversation. The incident scared NBA fans as he nearly took a harsh landing.

“I’ve been lifting weights, man,” Antetokounmpo said after leaning back in his chair from laughter. The chair’s back snapped clean off as the streamer laughed hysterically following the incident. Thankfully, Antetokounmpo avoided any injury from the experience.

This was just one of many viral moments from Speed’s stream with Antetokounmpo. During their conversation, the NBA star also mocked Speed for potentially having children, tried to invite NBA icon Michael Jordan on stream, and paid homage to soccer great Cristiano Ronaldo .

Will Giannis Stay With the Bucks Despite Trade Rumors?

However, the most significant moment for Milwaukee Bucks fans came when Antetokounmpo addressed his future on stream. He said he probably would stay in Milwaukee despite reports linking him with a move away after Damian Lillard was waived.

Recently, NBA insider Brian Windhorst explained that a potential move to the New York Knicks was on the table for Antetokounmpo. The team was prepared to base their entire summer free agency strategy on the hopes of bringing the Bucks star to New York.

“Teams like San Antonio…Houston…Miami…New York…specifically have stayed out of other major transactions / saved assets to potentially chase Giannis…because they’re not sure Giannis is gonna look at the Bucks work this week & think that’s a team that can compete,” Windhorst said.

During the stream with Speed, the Milwaukee Bucks star shot down any rumors about a trade sending him to the Knicks. He also announced that he would “probably” stay in Milwaukee, though his tone indicated he still isn’t 100% certain.

“A lot of people have tried to convince me to go there (New York),” Antetokounmpo said. When questioned by the streamer about whether he would stay in Milwaukee, he answered with a “probably, we’ll see” that left some room for interpretation.

While this statement offered some insight into the reports, it wasn’t a clear answer on whether the Bucks star will stay put. Multiple teams keep an eye on the star who could instantly transform any team into a title contender with the right supporting cast.
