Which Team Has the Best Chance To Land the Top Pick?
PFSN’s Playoff Predictor not only predicts the playoff picture and Super Bowl winner, it also predicts which team will land the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Factoring in each team’s record, metrics, and remaining schedule, our model currently gives the Giants the best odds to pick No. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Through the first five weeks of the season, the Titans have looked miserable; however, the Arizona Cardinals’ ineptitude in Week 5 gifted quarterback Cam Ward his first win.

The win dropped Tennessee from the first overall pick to the seventh; however, the playoff predictor still gives them the highest chance of securing the first overall pick at 24.1%. They look thoroughly outmatched by their AFC South rivals and still have some heavy hitters left on their schedule.
The Saints also won in Week 5, bringing them down to the fifth overall pick. Yet, the offense has struggled to maintain consistency under second-year quarterback Spencer Rattler, while a young defense continues to find its footing. They have the second-highest chance of selecting first overall, at 18.8%.
The Jets were the biggest beneficiaries of the Saints’ and Titans’ wins, but that’s because they remain winless. The playoff predictor has them with the third-highest odds of getting the first overall pick at 10.2%.
Here are the teams with the best chance of securing the top pick:
- Tennessee Titans, 24.1%
- New Orleans Saints, 18.8%
- New York Jets, 10.2%
- Carolina Panthers, 7.2%
- New York Giants, 6.9%
- Las Vegas Raiders, 6.4%
- Cleveland Browns, 5.8%
- Dallas Cowboys, 4.8%
- Miami Dolphins, 4.8%
