2020 NFL Draft Underclassmen Tracker: Latest prospect news and rumors

Throughout the season, PFN Draft Analyst and Insider Tony Pauline has been publishing analysis and information regarding draft prospects. One of the biggest pieces of the season and offseason is seeing which underclassmen will forego their remaining NCAA eligibility and enter the draft. Below is the 2020 NFL Draft Underclassmen Tracker, which contains information on what Pauline and others are hearing throughout the scouting community. We will continue to update this list whenever we get more information.

For rumored declarations, please note that this is what Pauline was hearing at the time it was reported and has not been officially confirmed by the player nor the school. As with everything, especially NFL Draft prospects, situations can change. If anything does change, we will update it with the new information.

You can see the dynamic playmaking potential of Maryland running back Anthony McFarland. His burst of speed is incredible and McFarland has the ability to score from any point on the field. I’ve previously reported the feeling in the scouting community as well as in the Terps program is McFarland will likely enter the draft after the season. Expect Maryland coach Mike Locksley to make a big push to keep McFarland on campus.

Everything I continue to hear leads me to believe the junior will enter the draft once the season is over. Shenault’s handlers are deep into the agent process, and though sources tell me no final decision on representation has been made, all signs point to the Buffalo wideout entering the draft.

Tony Pauline in the Week 10 PFN Game Day Blog
I’ve written on my affection for Reagor and his game-breaking skills as a wide receiver that can line up in the slot or on the flanks as well as return punts and kicks. We may see Reagor playing on Sundays sooner rather than later as people close to the TCU program and familiar with the team tell me they expect Reagor to enter the draft once the season is complete. I presently grade the junior as a late second-round selection.

Tony Pauline in the Week 10 PFN Game Day Blog
The defensive tackle position for the 2020 NFL Draft looks a little top-heavy at this point and it sounds like more talent will be added as I am hearing Jordan Elliott of Missouri is very likely to enter the draft. Elliott, who I graded as a late-round pick before the season, has been a disruptive force this year as a play-maker and gap occupier. His numbers include 29 tackles, 7 TFL, 3 QBH’s and 2 pass defenses. Several scouts presently grade Elliott as a top 45 selection.
Camryn BynumCBUCLAPac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 14 PFN Game Day Blog
Cal corner Camryn Bynum, who I graded as a third-round prospect entering the season, will go through the process of gathering information and is considering entering the draft. The big question mark on Bynum surrounds his deep speed and if he’s any faster than a 4.55s forty guy.
Darnay HolmesCBUCLAPac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 14 PFN Game Day Blog
I mentioned last week Bruins cornerback Darnay Holmes is expected to enter the draft. The latest I’m hearing is Holmes has been receiving information from NFL scouts he should return to school as he’s likely to fall deep into the draft. I’m told if he doesn’t enter the draft there’s a very good chance Holmes leaves the UCLA program as a graduate transfer.

Tony Pauline in the Week 13 PFN Game Day Blog
I’m told UCLA cornerback Darnay Holmes, a fourth year junior on course to graduate, will also enter the draft despite a somewhat disappointing season.
Jordan LoveQBUtah StateMountain WestRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 14 PFN Game Day Blog
During last week’s edition of our Q&A, I mentioned it would be a surprise if Jordan Love did not enter the draft and rumors were rampant he has representation lined up. I’m told on the off chance he doesn’t enter the draft, Love will likely go the graduate transfer route and leave Utah State. Should he go the graduate transfer route, expect Texas Tech to be near the top of his wish list, so Love could be reunited with former Utah State head coach Matt Wells.

Tony Pauline in the Week 14 Mailbag
From what I’m hearing at this point in time, it would be a major surprise if Jordan Love returns to Utah State for another year. Rumors are rampant that he’s already chosen representation for when he makes his announcement.
Stanford FootballAllStanfordPac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 14 PFN Game Day Blog
I’ve spoken with a number of league insiders on the West Coast since my earlier post on Stanford underclassmen. They tell me it would be a surprise if any of them enter the draft – a bit of a surprise considering how many Stanford underclassmen usually jump into the event each year.
Walker LittleOTStanfordPac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 14 PFN Game Day Blog
Will Walker Little enter the draft? I’m told right now it’s 50/50 at best as Little will start the process of speaking with people and getting opinions after today’s game.
Jaylon JohnsonCBUtahPac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 14 PFN Game Day Blog
Staying on the theme of PAC 12 underclassmen, I reported more than a month ago Utah cornerback Jaylon Johnson would enter the draft. I am told prior to tonight’s game against Colorado, which is a nationally televised contest, Johnson will be announced with the other departing seniors as part of the senior night for the Utes.

Tony Pauline in the Week 12 PFN Game Day Blog
I continue to be told Utes cornerback Jaylon Johnson will enter the draft and received further confirmation of this last week.
Tyler VaughnsWRUSCPac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 14 PFN Game Day Blog
I’ve spoken about USC receiver Tyler Vaughns and offensive tackle Austin Jackson several times over the past month, mentioning people on the west coast expect both players to enter the draft. Jackson grades as a top 42 choice while Vaughns is a second-day selection. People from the USC program are saying they feel the decision for both players ultimately depends on whether or not head coach Clay Helton returns to the Trojans.

Tony Pauline in the Week 13 PFN Game Day Blog
I continue to hear USC receiver Tyler Vaughns, who I’ve spoken about in glowing terms all season, is very likely to enter the draft.

DeeJay DallasRBMiamiACCRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 13 PFN Game Day Blog
Over the past several weeks I’ve heard from a number of sources Dallas will bolt for the NFL Draft after the season- which seems to be an annual event for underclassmen running backs on the Miami roster.
C.J. HendersonCBFloridaSECRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 13 PFN Game Day Blog
The other news coming out of Gainesville has cornerback C.J. Henderson entering the draft. While no final decision has been made, I’m told Henderson is heavily leaning towards entering the draft and UF has a history of losing a lot of juniors.
AJ EpenesaDEIowaBig TenRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 13 PFN Game Day Blog
The feeling around the program is Epenesa will be back in 2020. While this may change, Iowa has done a good job of retaining highly rated underclassmen in the past; sometimes to the detriment of the player (think Desmond King).
Tristan WirfsOTIowaBig TenRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 13 PFN Game Day Blog
Sources close to the program tell me they still believe Tristan Wirfs will return to school after the season, despite being graded as a top half of round one prospect.
Dylan MosesLBAlabamaSECRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 13 PFN Game Day Blog
As of yesterday, sources tell me Moses has made no definitive decision on whether he’ll enter the draft or stay in school - it seems at this point he’s unsure what he’ll do. These same sources believe the injury to Tagovailoa will impact Moses’ final decision and send him packing to the NFL.
Tua TagovailoaQBAlabamaSECRumoredTony Pauline on the Week 13 PFN Draft Insiders Podcast
I am told by people who are close to him [Tagovailoa] that Tagovailoa is telling people that he is very likely to enter the 2020 NFL Draft. This shouldn’t be a surprise - maybe it’s just an affirmation to some people. But I think right now, the chances of him returning to Alabama, from what I'm hearing from people close to him, are very, very slim.

Justin JeffersonWRLSUSECRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 12 PFN Game Day Blog
The development of LSU receiver Justin Jefferson continues to impress me.  His game is more polished, more reliable, and he continues to come up in bog spots. I expect Jefferson with enter the draft once the season concludes and I'm hearing there will be a large number of underclassmen from LSU who will follow suit - which is usually the case.
KJ HamlerWRPenn StateBig TenRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 12 PFN Game Day Blog
Nittany Lions receiver KJ Hamler has two receptions for 52 yards after the first quarter in the Big Ten battle against Indiana. I’ve reported numerous times Hamler is expected to enter the draft once the season ends. I’ve also been told by a number of league insiders and scouts Hamler could end up in the first round next April.
Josiah ScottCBMichigan StateBig TenRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 12 PFN Game Day Blog
If you’re watching the MSU against Michigan game, keep an eye on Spartans cornerback Josiah Scott as he goes up against the Wolverines trio of receivers. I continue to hear and was told as late as last week, Scott will enter the draft once the season is over.

Cesar RuizCMichiganBig TenRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 11 PFN Game Day Blog
Speaking of underclassmen centers, I’ve written about Cesar Ruiz of Michigan a number of times during the game day blog and the junior was a Week 9 Riser. I am told Ruiz is definitely leaning towards entering the draft and will go through the process of gathering information and getting a grade from the advisory committee as the season comes to a close. I presently grade Ruiz as a second-day selection.
TJ VasherWRTexas TechBig 12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 11 PFN Game Day Blog
Red Raiders receiver TJ Vasher, who is having a solid season, has come up big for Texas Tech a number of times. Vasher is doing a lot of exploratory work to make a decision at the end of the year on where he’ll be playing football in 2020. I’m told he’s leaning towards entering the draft.
Otis AndersonRBCentral FloridaAACRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 10 PFN Game Day Blog
I’m told Otis Anderson is leaning towards making the jump. Anderson is an undersized utility player who can line-up in the backfield, slot, as well as return punts and kicks.
Sage SurrattWRWake ForestACCRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 10 PFN Game Day Blog
Wake Forest wide receiver Sage Surratt is having a tremendous season and he’s turning a lot of heads in the scouting community. Coming into the NCSU contest, Surratt totaled 53 receptions, 8881 yards and nine TDs in seven games. Thus far, the wide receiver has two receptions for 15 yards in the first half. The feeling at this point from numerous people I’ve spoken with is Surratt, a redshirt sophomore, is very likely to return for another season on the college field with Wake Forest.
Janarius RobinsonDEFlorida StateACCRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 10 PFN Game Day Blog
The next level prospects on the field today leave a lot to be desired but I’ve heard from a number of people Janarius Robinson, the Seminoles defensive end, has people vetting agents and it’s looking more and more likely he will enter the draft. Robinson looks the part but his play is often underwhelming.
Jacob EasonQBWashingtonPac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 10 PFN Game Day Blog
Inquiring minds want to know - will Eason enter the draft? I’m told while he’s zeroing in on representation he’s made no definitive decision as to whether or not he’ll enter the draft. Though this seems contradictory, “I’ve picked an agent but haven’t decided on entering the draft just yet,” it’s often commonplace for highly rated juniors. This is the feeling and word I’m getting on Eason.
Isaiah HodginsWROregon StatePac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 10 PFN Game Day Blog
Oregon State receiver Isaiah Hodgins will be one of the most hotly debated players in the lead up to the draft. He turned in another monster game catching 11 passes for 150 yards and 2 TD’s as Oregon State stomped Arizona. I’ve been told Hodgins will consider entering the draft off a good season, and his numbers have been huge this season; 56 receptions, 745 yards, and 10 TD’s after eight games, with four contests left on the Beavers schedule.
Ifeanyi MaijehDTTempleAACRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 10 PFN Game Day Blog
Defensive tackle Ifeanyi Maijeh is considering making the jump. The redshirt sophomore, who played in eight games a year ago, has 35 tackles, 9.5 TFL’s and 6 sacks this season. He’s a prototypical three technique tackle for the next level. While I think it’s likely Hand enters the draft at this point I think Maijeh is probing to see what information comes back.
Kylin HillRBMississippi StateSECRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 9 PFN Game Day Blog
Multiple sources tell me running back Kylin Hill, stamped as a third-round prospect before the season by the scouts who graded a handful of juniors, is very likely to enter the draft. Hill is having a solid campaign in 2019, totaling 643 yards and crossing the goal line five times. He has just eight receptions this season.
Cameron DantzlerCBMississippi StateSECRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 9 PFN Game Day Blog
The potent Aggie passing attack is sure to test cornerback Cameron Dantzler, the other MSU junior likely headed to the NFL after the season. One source close to the situation told me it’s about 99% Dantzler enters the 2020 draft. Graded as a potential first-round pick by scouts coming into the season, Dantzler has two INT’s, six PBU’s to go along with 23 tackles this season.
Harrison HandCBTempleAACRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 9 PFN Game Day Blog
This year the name to key on his cornerback Harrison Hand, a Baylor transfer who’s playing lights out. Entering tonight’s contest Hand totals include 39 tackles, 3 INT’s and 3 PBU’s. He possesses next-level size and next-level ball skills. Word is Hand, a true junior is also leaning towards entering the draft, which gives some immediacy to scouting his game.
Richie GrantDBCentral FloridaAACRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 9 PFN Game Day Blog
Richie Grant, listed below as my fourth ranked safety, is having a terrific game against Temple. The Central Florida junior lacks classic size but he’s explosive, instinctive and makes plays in every direction of the field. I’m told it’s very much up in the air as to whether or not Grant enters the draft at this point.
Carlos Basham Jr.DEWake ForestACCRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 8 PFN Game Day Blog
As I’ve previously reported, he is seriously considering entering he draft and will make the jump if he gets a second-round grade from the advisory committee or if he receives information he’ll be a second day pick.
Isaiah SimmonsLBClemsonACCRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 8 PFN Game Day Blog
Simmons will be a top 20 pick if he enters the draft, something I expect he will do if Clemson makes a serious push towards the championship game.
Keith TaylorDBWashingtonPac-12RumoredTony Pauline in the Week 8 PFN Game Day Blog
There have been a ton of people from the league calling me and asking my opinion on Taylor. This is usually a sure sign he is very likely to enter the draft.

Willie GayLBMississippi StateSECRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 3 PFN Game Day Blog
Sources tell me Gay is very likely to enter the draft or at least heavily considering making the jump at this point. Only a junior, Gay is another underclassman who was stamped as a fourth-round prospect by scouts who graded him before the college football season began.
Armani RogersQBUNLVMountain WestRumoredTony Pauline in the Week 3 PFN Game Day Blog
I’ve written about UNLV quarterback Armani Rogers on several occasions as he’s a big-armed thrower and very athletic. I also mentioned last week there’s a chance he enters the 2020 draft if he has a good season this year. Rogers issues include inconsistent accuracy and not playing within the system.
