2019 NFL Draft: The winners, losers, and the best soundbites (Nosebleed Seats Podcast)

This week hosts Zach Wolchuk and Eric Chiofalo talk about the best audio moments from the 2019 NFL Draft, continue the Cowboys conversation, and finish off by ranking their top drafts by the team. So sit back and enjoy the show everyone can afford to listen to, the Nosebleed Seats!

The best soundbites from the 2019 NFL Draft

Last week, Zach and Eric gave their best NFL Draft audio moments from draft days past. This week, they go over the multiple draft-day audio bites that the NFL media got. Arguably the best audio moment came from former Indianapolis Colts punter, and punters are people too, Pat McAfee. McAfee came out swinging and continued the draft-day tradition set by former NFL players – rank on the team that is hosting the draft.

McAfee started talking by saying he wouldn’t talk that much about the Titans record against the Colts, but then hit with, “…we didn’t punt much against the Tennessee Titans…” Pure gold from McAfee. Then there is Jim Brown, and Brown had a mistake that we will talk about for quite a while as he ended his pick by saying, “…the 2013 NFL Draft…”

Top 2019 NFL Drafts

If you have a Twitter account, you’d know that everyone has been praising two teams about their draft – the Washington Redskins and New England Patriots. For the Redskins it’s a change of pace for their fans. Sorry PFN boys, as it seems they tend to mess up in the draft. The past two years, however, the Redskins have killed it.

Getting hometown QB Dwayne Haskins and trading back up to pick Montez Sweat has been the praise of the weekend. For the Patriots, it’s same old same old. Praise no matter who they choose. The only person who seemed to seems not to like their draft was Fox Sports radio-television host, Colin Cowherd. Cowherd mentioned that the Patriots still haven’t filled their top need, tight end. Only time will tell, but this is the Patriots. For all, we know N’Keal Harry will turn into Rob Gronkowski.

Questions to think about during the show

Did Pat McAfee win your heart during the 2019 NFL Draft? Who won the draft with their picks/trades?
